Search for the Morning

1950-52

Guy Anderson

born Edmonds, Washington, 1906; died La Conner, Washington, 1998

Painting in a manner that looks like an ancient mosaic, Anderson has presented the idea of the search for enlightenment as universal symbols -- as the reader and the dreamer and the rider who clings to the spirited horse of fate.
