Coffeepot

The early classical style featured designs inspired by antiquity, combining order and balance with a restrained use of ornament. Forbes’ coffeepot has a well-proportioned urn-shaped body topped by a classic urn finial. The bright-cut circular wreath on the side and the plain spout illustrate a deliberate change from raised-relief rococo ornamentation
