Fidelle Duvivier, French, born 1740, active 1799

Fidelle Duvivier, a somewhat itinerant painter from Belgium, is thought to have worked at New Hall from 1787 to 1790, but is known to have executed special commissions, such as this service, on New Hall and other English porcelains after that date.

Seattle Art Museum respectfully acknowledges that we are on Indigenous land, the traditional territories of the Coast Salish people. We honor our ongoing connection to these communities past, present, and future.
