The Modern Art collection focuses on paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, photographs, and installation works from the 20th and 21st centuries. Early 20th century paintings include works by Edouard Vuillard, Max Beckmann, and Arshile Gorky. Extensive post-1945 holdings include works by Jackson Pollock, Agnes Martin, Andy Warhol, Willem de Kooning, Martin Puryear, Jacob Lawrence, and Do-Ho Suh.
