Figure of Li Bai

1662 - 1722

This figure in famille verte style represents the drunken and soundly sleeping Li Bai, the romantic Tang poet. The enamels were painted directly on to the prefired but unglazed porcelain body, which gives a slightly matte effect to the surface.
