Bowl with floral medallions

1723-1735

Known in Chinese as doucai (joined colors), for the combination of underglaze blue and overglaze enamels, the style was most renowned for wares made in the mid-15th century and the early 18th century. They share a similar elegance in design that features simple forms and exquisite painting.
