Preaching Buddha

The name of the photographer is Mr. Lee Kyung-Tak (who always works for the conservation studio), but he wants us not to put his name with the photo. And he said it was not necessary to ask him for doing any paper work on this matter.

The monumental size, fine quality, and rarity make this painting one of the masterpieces of Korean Buddhist paintings in the U.S. Seated on a lotus pedestal, the Shakyamuni Buddha is preaching the Lotus Sutra on Vulture Peak. He is surrounded by bodhisattvas, guardians, and his disciples.
