Bonuojia (Skt. Vanaka)

Bonuojia (Skt. Vanaka)

1764

With high-riding nose and mouth agape he sits holding his rosary in his hand. From him the myriad laws are resolved into one, yet no single law is acceptable. Beneath the sala tree he sits indifferent to the world of illusion which he has rejected. He recites a silent litany while a novice-lad listens.
