According to the Archive, the painting was valued at 150 liras by Petroni and 120 liras by Guizzardi. The painting is mentioned as part of the Hercolani Collection in the 1774 volume by L. Crespi, "Descrizione delle scoture et architetture della citta e sobborghi de Pescia e della Toscana."
