Label TextShamans relied on the powers of special spirit animals to help them achieve their healing. The depiction of shamans on vessels and textiles is often visually complex. Here, a flying man, who is probably a shaman, wears a gold mask and a tree branch emanates from his mouth. Pink snakes surround him; the border was originally adorned with birds.
