Dateca. 1723-35
Label TextThe blossoms and fruits were outlined and painted with opaque white pigment, on which enamels were then applied and "washed away" to achieve satisfying tonal gradations. The body is eggshell-thin and has a dark pink on the exterior, as if to flaunt the pink indulgence. This so-called ruby-back ware could have up to seven elaborate borders.
