Label TextMoseley was a Seattle-based artist who, like Wendell Brazeau, taught at the University of Washington and became an important exponent of modern ideas in the region. Both artists trained in Paris and witnessed the European avant-garde first-hand, bringing those ideas back to the Northwest and challenging artists to find individual languages in addressing issues of abstraction.
