Bracelet

1644 - 1912

Bracelets were a common body ornament since the earliest periods of Chinese history. This light green polished jade bracelet has one cord-patterned section and one raised angular section featuring formal designs such as swastikas-wan (?), a traditional Buddhist symbol introduced to China from India with the practice of Buddhism-meant to bring good-luck.
