Cream boat and saucer

Dateca. 1740-45
Label TextBy the time this pitcher and stand were made, the Asian-inspired styles of the factory were giving way to European influences. The overlapping acanthus-leaf molding of the cup and the strawberry-leaf molding of the stand, purely European adaptations, remain in the manner of blanc de chine.
