Label TextStanding Youth, dressed in chlamys over short chiton. Right arm is exposed, bent at the elbow. Left foot is slightly forward. Left arm is covered by chlamys though th ehand is exposed. Figure has short curly hair; hair may have been boung with a fillet, which is now missing. Green patina and some encrustation. Bronze figure of a man standing, wearing chiton, feet bare, two rows of curls aronud head; eyes probably of silver, a common material for such in Hellenistic times. --Dorothy Hill, The Waters Art Gallery: Baltimore, Maryland Standing young man could possibly be Hermes
