Camel

Datepossibly 7th century
Label TextCamels of this type share characteristics with those made in the 6th century—elaborately carved neck hair and dramatically drooping neck—and the later Tang camels from the 8th century—thick legs and large heads. It is possible that these examples represent a transition in the depiction of camels in the 7th century.
