The vivid colors in this print by Matsuoka Toshiyuki are striking. The eye-popping red sun is framed inside a black and blue U-shape. Patterns of color are separated from the sun by slanting lines of orange, white, and black. Those lines and the color forms, also slanting upward and progressively diminishing in size, create a sense of depth.
