Label TextThis print, honoring seven Ahousat people who perished in a house fire, was distributed as a potlatch gift. An edition of ten was sold to raise money for the memorial ceremony. A west coast-style canoe lifts the deceased until airborne above a calm sea and into an arching rainbow.
