Label TextHe sits alone hugging his knees, with a vacant expression as if he were frightened. His heart is that of a Bodhisattva though his shape is that of the king of devils. On the left he is anointed with the fire-resisting balm of sandalwood, on his right a sharp sword threatens. Why should he harbor resentment? Why should he confer kindness? Escape from karma is assured to him in either case.
