Mischievous Man, Tsak
1978
Tait was one of the founding members of the Northwest Coast Indian Artists Guild, established in 1977 to foster and promote high quality First Nations art. With the virtual explosion of art made for sale during this period, established artists who had painstakingly developed their talents were concerned about the unregulated production and sale of poor quality silkscreen prints. Hoping to establish the medium as a fine art, from 1977-79 the group produced and exhibited small edition prints and a companion publication. Tait was featured in the 1978 collection.
