Grzeszykowska's photographs initially appear to operate within the traditions of "straight" photographic portraiture, where absolute attention to truthful detail would yield such a powerful image. In reality, photos such as this boldly bend the truth-digital fabrications of people who do not exist but who have been built up with composite parts of other actual sitters.
