Commissioned Screen

2007

Do Ho Suh

Korean, born 1962

Comprised of hundreds of interconnected, uniformly sized ABS plastic figures in rainbow colors, this screen was commissioned by the Seattle collector Virginia Wright (1929–2020). Like Do Ho Suh’s Some/One on view in the center of this gallery, this screen also addresses the relationship between the individual and the collective and how each person is connected with others.
