Label TextIn this fictional astrological map, the night sky is populated with not only planets and stars but also archeological artifacts and everyday objects. The resulting equivalence of these bodies—earthly and heavenly, historic and modern—points to a belief held by many ancient cultures that the cosmos determined the outcome of human events and our fate. Consisting of photographs held together by mere tape, the work suggests the fragility and ephemerality of our human place within these cosmic systems.
