The Owl's Roost

Humans have long aspired to have the characteristics that make birds special: their ability to transcend the earthly realm and, as hunters, their keen eyesight and swiftness of attack. Owls are among the most enigmatic birds of prey. Nocturnal and mysterious, they select their roost and inhabit it for years at a time, from which they assess their hunting opportunities. Indigenous hunters are said to observe the habits of owls to become more effective predators themselves.
