Scholar's table top chest

Label TextThis stackable chest consists of various decorative woods: pear for drawers, paulownia at the back, and mahogany for the top and sides. It was used to store important documents and for displaying prized writing implements and accessories, such as brush pots, water droppers, and incense burners.
