Naxnox mask

Dateca. 1890
Label TextThe rich repertoire of names and characteristics associated with naxnox (spirit beings) are often disassociated from the masks that represent them. The identity of this simply carved mask is unknown but would have been vividly brought to life in dance movements that pantomimed its personality.
