Erik Gronborg’s slumped, impractically shaped mugs and vessels irreverently challenge notions of acceptable imagery in “high” and “low” art. While the female nude is a storied, recurring theme in Western art history, its appearance on a functional drinking vessel is a jarring and unexpected surprise.
