Plate
1735-40
This plate bears the coat of arms of the Benada family, Bohemian-Silesian merchants who were elevated to the nobility in 1706. The aristocrat Carl von Wolfsburg painted it. Also known for his miniature portraits, von Wolfsburg turned his hand to porcelain painting as a refined pastime. Works decorated by him are very rare.
