Bowl
13th-14th century
Korean Koryo celadons are rightly known the world over for their aesthetic of elegant restraint. This greenish grey stoneware is inlaid in white with auspicious designs of clouds and the wish-granting ruyi-head motif. Three flying cranes in white and black slip further embellish the bowl's interior and signify the desire for long life.
