Large Plate

, Jingdezhen
Label TextThe motifs of rock and flower are fully exploited on this large Chinese plate. The composition is spacious and slightly formalized, recalling the Japanese Kakiemon style. But the famille rose palette differs in that it uses white enamels, and also pink enamels instead of Kakiemon's orange-red.
