Label TextThe motif of a branch with three peaches embellishes this set of five white porcelain saucers. An emblem of longevity, marriage and springtime, the peach is one of Chinese art's most auspicious emblems. Legend has it that the deity Xiwangmu, the Queen Mother of the West, has a peach tree in her orchard that blooms once every 3,000 years.
