Hut in The Woods
Dateca. 1977
Label TextDensely painted with dry, quick brushstrokes, the painting appears to be an abstraction at first glance. Closer examination however reveals a secluded hut tucked away in deep woods. The compact image shows Zhang Ding's mastery in balancing the spatial composition and content of the painting.
