Roxy Paine

American, born 1966

Born in New York, Roxy Paine earned art degrees from the Pratt Institute, New York, and the College of Santa Fe, New Mexico. He received the 1997 Aldrich Museum of art Trustees Award for an Emerging Artist. His work has been presented in solo exhibitions at the James Cohan Gallery, New York; Lunds Konsthall, Sweden; Galerie Thomas Schulte, Berlin, Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, New York, and Musée d'Art Américain Giverny, Giverny, France. He lives and works in New York.
