Danny Dennis
Danny is a native of the Gitskan Village of Kitwanga from the Tsimshian Tribe,
situated on the banks of the Skeena River in Northern British Columbia. Born in
1951, Danny began studying and producing Northwest Coast Indian art in 1978,
and although he is self-taught, he is inspired by master artists Francis Williams,
Robert Davidson and Bill Reid. He has done work in gold, silver, ivory and silkscreen
prints usually in the Tlingit style. Lou has a bracelet designed by Danny
and produced by Metal Arts Group, titled "Love Birds, .. the joining of the Eagle and
Raven clans.
