Gwaai Edenshaw
First Nations, Haida, born 1977
people. He spent a year living and training with Bill Reid; this was formative in his
understanding of the forms and styles of Haida art. Aside from his artwork, he works for
the Council of the Haida Nation, protecting the forests. In 1999 he completed the
Jewlry, Art and Design program at Vancouver Community College.
