Label TextObjects decorated with figural motifs, such as warriors with weapons and horses, represent the best works of the "famille verte" (green family) style, combining masterly paintings and seasoned enamel-firing skills, as shown by the brilliant quality of the enamels on this plate. These scenes were often inspired by contemporary book illustrations.
