Chicken headed ewer

Label TextThe chicken-headed ewer was a hallmark product of the Yue stoneware. The curious chicken head adds a humorous touch to the quiet shape, evoking a carefree, homely atmosphere. This ewer form was favored in both southern and northern China for a period of more than four hundred years.
