Label TextThe wide-eyed, Kakiemon-style, red and gilt-striped tiger with bamboo is a copy of a Kakiemon original. Plates decorated with this pattern and marked with the number 72, were part of Augustus the Strong's collection, and are listed in an inventory taken in 1770. The royal arms of Poland are a later addition.
